Matsayin da ke cikin samar da broiler -
Betaine yana ƙarfafa tasirin oxidative na fatty acid ta hanyar rawar da yake takawa a cikin hada carnitine, don haka ana amfani da shi azaman hanyar ƙara kitse mai laushi da rage kitse a cikin gawar kaji (Saunderson da macKinlay, 1990). Yana inganta nauyin gawa, kashi na miya, cinya, nono da giblets a matakin 0.1-0.2% a cikin abincin. Hakanan yana tasiri ga ajiyar kitse da furotin kuma yana rage kitsen hanta da rage kitse a ciki.
